Capa e ilustrações inspiradas em literatura de cordel sobre um estudo do livro Grande Sertão: Veredas, de João Guimarães Rosa. Na história original o cangaceiro Riobaldo, o protagonista, enfrenta diversos questionamentos sobre a existência de Deus e o diabo e a vantagens entre o mau e o bom. Na capa, procurei representar estes dilemas com as figuras do espírito santo, o diabo e o sertão.
Cover, illustrations and layout inspired by a popular Brazilian literature named ” Grande Sertão: Veredas”, by João Guimarães Rosa. In the original story Riobaldo, the main character, faces many questions about the existence of God and devil and the advantages between following a bad or a good path. On the cover, I represented these dilemmas with the holy spirit, the devil and the hinterland made using a traditional type of art called “cordel”.
